In a vibrant demonstration of community spirit and commitment to social responsibility, QI Group Hong Kong volunteers partnered with the Hong Chi Association for their 60th Anniversary Open Day and Eco Charity Carnival. The event, held on April 12, 2025, marked a significant milestone in fostering greater understanding and support for individuals with special needs.
This collaboration served multiple objectives, including commemorating Hong Chi Association’s six decades of dedicated service in special education and rehabilitation. Beyond celebration, the carnival aimed to significantly raise public awareness about individuals with special needs, advocating for a more inclusive community where every individual is valued.
As part of their Employee Community Impact (ECI) initiative, staff members from the QI Group managed a bustling second-hand market stall, filled with a wide array of pre-loved items, from children’s toys to household goods, all of which found new homes. The proceeds from these sales are earmarked to support Hong Chi Association’s vital services and development plans, particularly in special education and rehabilitation.
The event also passionately championed environmental consciousness. By promoting the reuse and recycling of second-hand items, the carnival underscored the importance of sustainable development and waste reduction, encouraging attendees to embrace environmentally friendly lifestyles.

The day was a true testament to community engagement, bringing together volunteers, residents, and supporters in a shared mission. One volunteer, reflecting on the day’s success, remarked, “Seeing the community come together today has been truly heartwarming. It’s amazing how many people are willing to contribute their time and resources for such a great cause.”
The impact of the event resonated deeply with the beneficiaries. A resident child from Hong Chi Association, experiencing the joyous atmosphere, shared, “It was fun to meet so many nice people. I learned a lot about what Hong Chi does for kids like me.”
This collaborative effort between QI Hong Kong and the Hong Chi Association not only raised vital funds and celebrated a significant anniversary but also fostered a greater sense of compassion and collective responsibility, embodying the true spirit of “Raise Yourself To Help Mankind.”
