Tajikistan: 18 October 2007 – To truly make a difference on yesterday’s International Day for the Blind, many Independent Representatives from QuestNet Tajikistan (a QI Ltd subsidiary) gathered together to raise funds for the Blind Association of Tajikistan in the name of RYTHM.
While uplifting and supportive words were spoken, the thing that spoke even louder was the amazing power of people ‘raising themselves to raise mankind’. Tajikistan IRs had donated their own money to then buy food and necessities for the Blind Association of Tajikistan. This showing of good deed and good will touched many hearts, not only the hearts of those who benefit from the Association, but that of the general public after local media helped spread the word of the donation through televised coverage.
