Walking for a worthy cause.
The trek was led by RYTHM Foundation Trustee, Mr. Richard Zinkiewicz. This year, the beneficiary of the Rainbow Trek was New Sight Congo which is a charity project aiming to help the blind and the visually-impaired by pioneering a non-profit Surgical Eye Centre in the Republic of Congo.

All funds raised will go towards funding cataract and other sight restoring surgeries in New Sight’s eye clinic in Congo. The aim this year is to fund one thousand cataract and other similar operations thus helping all these individuals to see again and by doing so, helping to lift many families out of poverty.

“The trek is not just about raising money for a very good cause, but also about individual growth and achievement. This is a physical and mental challenge that demands commitment and preparation. I am truly grateful to all the staff who have donated for this fantastic cause and of course, to my adventurous team who took up the Rainbow Trek challenge,” said Mr. Zinkiewicz.
