RYTHM Foundation’s work with Sri Lankan NGO Women’s Development Centre (WDC) has been featured in an article by the leading local English Language newspaper, Daily Mirror. The piece highlights WDC’s personalised rehabilitation services for differently-abled youth and children through a Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) programme it manages with support from RYTHM. WDC is a Kandy-based organisation that implements supportive programmes focusing on women, children, and youth of all abilities. Eleven CBR centres have been established in the district, benefitting 416 individuals. RYTHM’s close ties with WDC on the programme since 2019 also aims to foster a sense of social inclusion for the participants within their communities.
