QI Group staff from Malaysia Adrian Stevenson Charles is passionate about volunteering and working with children with special needs. He was inspired to do it through his brother who is a special needs child himself.
As someone who likes outdoor activities, he has been volunteering his time painting homes, planting trees since young.
His most memorable activity was volunteering with Kechara Soup Kitchen where he collected food from shops and bakeries and give it out to the poor.
“The activity made me realise that there’s a lot of food out there that goes to waste, not just in shops and bakeries but also in hotels. I think what Kechara is doing is amazing, whereby there go and collect all these foods, and reducing waste, and the same time feeding the poor or less fortunate one,” he says.
