The children of Changing Young Lives Foundation in Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon, Hong Kong, were surprised with a birthday celebration by nine QI Hong Kong staff who put together a party for the January and February birthday babies in the foundation.
As part of the celebration, the volunteers carried out a few interactive fun games such as putting together the Chinese Zodiac sign puzzle, collecting pencils game, balancing table-tennis balls on top of their heads race, Chinese idiom charades, and using wooden sticks to make cannon to use in a shooting game.
One of the volunteers, Priscilla Yuen, said it felt good to spend quality time with the children and see so much happiness on their faces. “It brought so much joy to see how excited they could be during some of the games and I would love to be part of such SSR activity again in the future.”
