Vijayaratnam Foundation takes pride in announcing the success of MAHAMAYA, the traditional Indian dance show staged to aid Taarana, our school for children with special learning needs.
Fulfilling her long-nurtured dream to dance for a cause, Datin Sri Umayal Eswaran, Chairperson of Vijayaratnam Foundation, took to stage for the first time in 3 years to raise funds for a project extremely close to her heart – Taarana. The duet with Nritta Ganeshi, whose Odissi style dance complemented Datin’s Bharata Natyam, saw a full house and was a true visual masterpiece.
Performed in collaboration with Kalpana Dance Theatre, the show has now been featured in various media channels.
We certainly cannot be prouder. Below are images of the news clippings for your convenience.
