RYTHM Foundation’s Head, Santhi Periasamy, recently appeared on Selamat Pagi Malaysia (Good Morning Malaysia), a national broadcaster Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) news programme. The discussion centred on empowering Malaysia’s indigenous communities through sustainability initiatives.
The episode highlighted RYTHM Foundation’s collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on the upcoming convention, ‘Indigenous Communities in Malaysia: Reframing the National Sustainability Initiative.’ Santhi was joined by Prof Dr Kadaruddin Aiyub, Dean of UKM’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, to discuss the initiative’s significance and impact.
Meanwhile, Santhi also appeared on a radio station by Bernama, the national news agency, in conjunction with the convention.
During the live programme, she highlighted the collaboration with the faculty’s lecturer, Prof Dr Azlan Abas, to explore the convention’s objectives and potential impact.
