A. Goghilam from QI Group’s Malaysia office has been participating in the company’s employee volunteering program for years. It has now encouraged her to volunteer for worthy causes outside office with her family and friends. “I learnt to share what I have with the less fortunate. After my volunteering experience with my colleagues feeding the urban homeless in Kuala Lumpur, my husband and I decided to do this on our own. We cooked and packed the food at home and distributed it to the homeless and poor families in Chow Kit and Pudu area in Kuala Lumpur.” “It is not much but I believe our small contribution has helped many people to sleep with their tummy full,” she says.
