With the launch of HomePure RED, QNET made a pledge to make a USD 20 donation for every purchase of this special edition water filter. At VCON16, they pooled the money together and made a generous donation towards the Myanmar School Project.
The QNET Myanmar School Project will provide much needed assistance to a school that educates nearly 120 orphans from vulnerable income backgrounds. Currently, a large common area with no partitions or furniture is used by 8 different classes at the same time. This ‘classroom’ is in various stages of disrepair and during the destructive monsoon season, the roof leaks, making it very difficult for the students to use it. With the money raised through the purchases of HomePure RED water filters, 8 separate classrooms with sturdy roofs will be built. The project will also ensure clean water facilities so that the children who spend all their days there can be safe from bad quality drinking water.
At VCON16, many of QNET’s Independent Representatives (IRs) came by our booth to make additional donations to this project. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed towards making this possible, your contributions will provide these children with the learning environment they deserve.
