In strong support of the efforts to preserve the religious and cultural heritage of the Kingdom of Bhutan, RYTHM Foundation pledged a donation that would finance the restoration of the main monastery of the 500-year-old Datong Tulku Rinpoche.
The monastery, located at Punakha Valley, Bhutan, is a large four-storey building, originally built by the first Datong Tulku named Terton Chenpo Yongzin Ngawang Drakpa in the year 1507. Since the construction of this monastery, no major restoration has been carried out until RYTHM Foundation’s involvement in the project.
