It was during a volunteering activity cleaning the Baseco Beach in Manila that QI Group staff from Philippines, Clint Norbel Alimbo @clint_norbssss realised how badly polluted the beach area was because of the actions of irresponsible individuals.
“I was taken back to see the amount of garbage scattered along the beach. Can you imagine how harmful it would be when this garbage goes into the sea? Only after participating in the beach cleaning activity I realised the seriousness of the situation,” he says.
“Although it was just a few hours of my day, I feel like I made a small difference. But for long lasting change people need to be aware of the consequences of their action,” he says.
