QI Hong Kong made fundraising for a good cause more creative and fun, as they made homemade goodies to raise funds for Taarana. The delectable snacks were then sold to QI Hong Kong staff, with all proceeds to be donated to our favourite charity, the Taarana School for Children with Special Needs.
The Snacks Fun Day was a grand success and the funds raised exceeded the target by more than 100%. All the Hong Kong staff enthusiastically participated in the event of whom thirty-nine prepared and sold the snacks, while the rest generously supported the event by buying snacks that they happily shared with other colleagues. No one can ever say ‘No!’ to such yummy and healthy snacks.
Snacks Fun Day for Taarana was not only a fundraising activity but also a fun way of showcasing the teamwork and creativity of the volunteers in their preparation of healthy vegetarian snacks in their own unique style.
The most striking part of the whole day was the selfless act of service and humility by our Chiefs and Directors. During the event, they had demonstrated the quality of a Servant Leader by serving and delivering the snacks to the staff, where they also had the chance to chat with them casually.
The event was indeed an amazing experience for everyone.
