INDIA

Parinaama Foundation Odisha, Jharkhand & Bihar

A health education programme in Patna to reach out to 5,000 women from disadvantaged communities to help reduce rate of child mortality and disease. A mushroom cultivation programme for women in Patna and Ranchi to tackle malnutrition and improve the livelihood of 200 families. Training 150 disadvantaged rural women with tailoring skills in Balangir, Odisha and Sonpur, Bihar and helping them gain employment in garment manufacturing. Targeting to impact 10,000 youth and women through the above initiatives by 2022.

SRI LANKA

LEADS Mullaitivu & Trincomalee

Helping 500 low-income families reconstruct their lives after returning to their homeland at the end of the Sri Lankan civil war. The programme helps them secure shelter and rebuild their lives, while also helping minimize risk of abuse among children who have been orphaned.

INDIA

Mann Deshi Foundation Maharashtra

Supports a youth development programme which is working towards training around 800 girls from rural Maharashtra to become financially independent.

Manava Seva Dharma Samyardhani Trust Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand & Tamil Nadu

Sponsoring social entrepreneurs from these areas to develop social enterprises in their local communities. Projects include enabling access to education and improved income opportunity for rural communities through development of floriculture (kanakambaram & banthi flowers) and honey collection. This initiative is benefitting more than 25,000 men, women, children, and transgenders.

Cancer Patients Aid Association Maharashtra

Helped 20 children from low-income families for cancer treatment. Reached out to 3,000 people to create awareness about cancer and early detection.
Global Himalayan Expedition Ladakh

Funded a project to light up Rongdo, a remote Himalayan village in Ladakh by investing in renewable energy infrastructure. This in turn helped set up Himalayan Innovation Centres in 2 secondary schools with internet access. Over 300 people benefitted from this initiative.
Isha Vidya Scholarship Programme Tamil Nadu

Adopted 42 children from disadvantaged communities in Erode & Villupuram to provide quality education.
Usha School of Athletics Kerala

Supporting 5 promising young female athletes from low-income families in sports training and formal education under the legendary PT Usha.

SRI LANKA

Sarvodaya Jaffna & Kilinochchi

Supporting entrepreneurship development programme which will help 400 youth and women from disadvantaged communities earn a livelihood.

Women's Development Centre Kandy

Promoting social inclusion of persons with special needs. The programme has trained 25 volunteers and staff in capacity development and over 400 youth with special needs have benefitted form it. The aim of the programme is to reach out to more youth, families and community members by 2022.

Sarvodaya Polonnaruwa, Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya, Rathnapura & Monaragala

Supporting a community-based education and advocacy programme to help children who have been orphaned or abandoned as a result of the civil war.
