“When our local partners go in to distribute the provisions to those registered, the number of people who gather doubles with some crying and begging for provision,” Datin Sri Umayal said.“This is the time for Malaysians to come forward and do what is right for the community,” she added. The RYTHM Foundation chairperson said Malaysians who wish to contribute can log into the website www.rythmfoundation.org and support the organisations the Foundation works with.
“These are the organisations that we can vouch for so people can choose to partner or fund. A lot of Malaysian families can afford to give up to RM150 which can go a long way to help another family,” she said.
