QI Group staff Charisse Nueva Espana @beauchicha from the Philippines says she draws her inspiration from a volunteering experience at a home that caters for abandoned, neglected or individuals with disabilities.
“Despite being physically challenged, children at the Cottolengo brought smiles and cheers to those who visited them. Hearing their laughter while watching them playing games, I realised that happiness is just a matter of choice. Their smiles and happy faces reminded me to look at life from a different angle,” says Charrisse.
She says the experience made her determined to volunteer and serve children more.
