In a continuous effort to preserve and protect the environment, volunteers from Prana Resort Nandana in Koh Samui organized two SSR activities in the month of March and April 2018.
Armed with more than 35 staff from all levels, they spent 4 hours since early morning to clean up the beach, pick up discarded plastic bottles, cigarette butts, plant new trees, and place new waste bins made from natural materials around the Bangrak beach area. Their efforts were not left unnoticed as they were watched by curious passer-by, which was an effective way to create public awareness to care for the environment.
Nateekan Srisuksai, one of the volunteers who was involved in the two SSR activities expressed her pride to be associated with the initiative. “I am proud to be part of this meaningful activity and it is an opportunity for me to give back in a responsible way,” she said.
The activities which was carried out where the resort is located was also a testament by the QVI Club management and its staff that they give back to the community where they operate in.
Ultimately, it was a display of what RYTHM stands for – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind.
