QI Thailand employees recently participated in a meaningful activity to plant mangrove trees alongside the Bangpakong Coastal Area, which is one of Bangkok’s biggest frontier on the East.
Over the past few years, Bangkok has seen a decreasing rate of more than 5 percent loss of land space, due to the lack of mangrove forests which have been proven to slow down the process of land corrosion.
With a mission to help save the environment, a total of 55 of our volunteers gathered and joined hands with the local community to participate and experience the tree planting process.
Our volunteers were happy to contribute towards the activity and helped plant as many mangrove trees possible within three hours. Besides planting mangrove trees, our volunteers also collected garbage and cleaned up the area.
