In a move to promote the green space in the suburb of Kuala Lumpur, QI staff took part in a tree planting activity during the World Environment Day SSR held in Bangsar on August 12.
The event, which was a collaboration between RYTHM Foundation and Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur, brought together city greenies to create awareness on the importance of improving the city’s green space.
The QI staff, who were broken up into three teams, were involved in filling up the green space with aloe Vera plants and Frangipani trees and helped in the clearing of the compound area.
QI staff Ms Baida said: “Through this activity, we hope to increase and improve the suburban and city’s green space and educate people on the right methods in planting trees.”
