QI Hong Kong bags the silver award.
In recognising the need to preserve and protect the earth’s vital natural resources, the RYTHM Foundation has always tried to support environment conservation activities such as this. Thus, in celebration of this new achievement, a cocktail and awarding ceremony was held in Shore Bar & Restaurant in the popular Queens Road, Central which was graced by QI Hong Kong CSR Committee Chairman Jeannie Tan, HR&A Manager Eleanor Chan and QI HR Processes and Practices Manager Ikki Yuen.

The event included a fabulous eco-fashion show featuring Hong Kong’s top models wearing recycled couture by renowned designer Karta Healy.

On the event day itself, the team consisting of over 100 volunteers including the Directors scoured numerous beaches and managed to get a total of 65 kg of garbage- wood, bottles, clothes, boxes, sacks etc. Together, the team’s sole purpose was in line with RYTHM Foundation’s mission to create better living conditions for society at large.
Mr. Richard Zinkiewicz – fruits of labour.
As a post-event action, the Hong Kong team submitted their garbage data to the Hong Kong Clean-Up Organisation. This significantly added to the pool of knowledge about the surrounding waste in Hong Kong that is being shared with scientists, politicians and community members to further their efforts and studies on waste management.
Ms. Malou Caluza – service with a smile.
This dedication and concern for the environment is most certainly an intrinsic value of the RYTHM Foundation’s principles. Through efforts such as this, the RYTHM Foundation will continue its cause in saving the environment and contributing to cleaner, greener cities for everyone to live in.
