A total of 29 QI Hong Kong employees took part in a Snack Day fundraising activity aimed at raising funds for our school for special needs education; Taarana.
Our volunteers spent their Sunday preparing healthy vegetarian meals, following a long process of shopping for groceries, cooking and finally, packing it for the sale in the office.
The next day, they brought the home-cooked meals to the office for the fundraiser activity. The healthy and delicious meals were a hit among the QI Hong Kong office staff. The spread of various healthy meals reflected a sense of creativity and teamwork among the QI Group employees.
With the dedication of our volunteers and their commitment to devote their time and effort, they managed to collect a total HKD 9,070 which exceeded the initial target set at HKD 5000.
A volunteer who participated in the event said, “This is a special activity since we could enjoy different styles of homemade vegetarian food prepared by our colleagues and at the same time, helped raise funds for our corporate heartbeat, the Taarana School”.
This contribution will help Taarana to provide better opportunities and care for the students with special needs.
