About VIJAYARATNAM FOUNDATION

Vijayaratnam Foundation was founded in April 2006 by the Executive Chairman of QI Group of Companies, Dato' Vijay Eswaran as a tribute to his father, Mr. Vijayaratnam Saravanamuthu, a philanthropist who started his charity causes at the age of 15. It offers assistance to young, promising Malaysians in their pursuit of academic excellence through sponsorship, study loans, guidance and mentorship. To date, about 100 students have benefitted from these scholarships and study loans given by Vijayaratnam Foundation.

2009 marks a New Year for the Vijayaratnam Foundation, a foundation for all Malaysians, as it spreads its wings to areas pertaining to educational empowerment, poverty alleviation, disaster relief and also will support activities related to arts, humanities and culture. It will continue to serve mankind and nurture the future leaders of Malaysia.

Vijayaratnam Foundation is the Malaysian chapter of the RYTHM Foundation.
