RYTHM Foundation continued its tradition of spreading joy and happiness to the senior citizens during a Chinese New Year get together held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
The usually quiet En Yuan Old Folks Home suddenly turned lively when more than 30 volunteers from QI Malaysia showed up at the door with festive greetings. The elderly was also eased by the volunteers’ warmth and friendliness.
The festive occasion was also joined by QI Directors, Mr. Krishna Kumar and Ms. Boey Kho in distributing the red packets as a gesture of good wishes and prosperity before they continued with the traditional Yee Sang tossing ceremony.
It was certainly all smiles for the 35 senior residents when they were presented with goodie bags consisting of necessities such as rice, cooking oil, milk powder, noodles, washing powder and mandarin oranges.
En Yuan Old Folks Home is a non-for-profit organization set up for the purpose of providing support and necessities to the elderly who are without the support of immediate family member. In this regard, RYTHM Foundation through their volunteers have displayed an exemplary dedication to help others in need.
