Malaysia: 28 June 2010 – Amidst the thronging crowds at V-Malaysia 2010, RYTHM Foundation presented its charity projects for the year 2009 and early 2010, solidifying the commitment of the Foundation and of QNet through the QNet Pays Forward initiative in uplifting the lives of people in need.
At the event, QNet Executive Chairperson and RYTHM Foundation Trustee Ms Donna Imson thanked IRs for all their support and invited them to join hands with the Foundation for future endeavours. Ms Imson then introduced the new ‘RYTHM Foundation & QNet Pays Forward’ video featuring all the programmes and work that the Foundation has been contributing to different parts of the world. The video embraced the concept behind RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind – and served as inspiration to all of the participants to encourage more people to join the Foundation in creating a better future for underprivileged children and those in need. World Vision and the Foundation of Goodness, the Foundation’s partners, sent their representatives as guest speakers.
Director of Publics-in-Ministry for World Vision Philippines Mr Boris Joaquin and Foundation of Goodness Founder and Trustee Mr Kushil Gunasekera both came onstage to present to the network the positive impact the Foundation has made to their projects and communities. Throughout the V-Malaysia 2010 event, the Foundation’s mission ‘Raise Yourself To Help Mankind’ was lived out by numerous IRs, who came to the booth to sign their pledges. For that, the Foundation is incredibly grateful. The QI Group matched all donations from the IRs, and the funds were appropriated to the designated charities of World Vision and the Foundation of Goodness.
