QVI CLUB STAFF KOH SAMUI RAN TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Staff from Prana Resorts Nandana Koh Samui joined in thousands other participants at ‘the Cancer Care Charity Fun Run 2018’, an annual event held to raise funds for the Cancer Research Centre of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, in association with the Thai Red Cross Society.

This year marks the Fun Run’s 11th edition and it took place at Nathorn Pier in Koh Samui on the first Saturday of June where participants from all walks of life gathered as early as 7am for the flag off. It was a fun and relaxed affair with participation from young children, families and friends who appeared to be in jovial mood while completing their run ranging from 2km, 5km, and 10km.

“I’m very happy to join this race in support of the cause and will do it again next year,” said Tharathep Chupeth, one of the participants from Prana Resorts Nandana for RYTHM Foundation.

All the proceeds from the Charity Fun Run, which were collected from ticket sales will be used to further vital work in the field of cancer care in Thailand.
