PRANA STAFF FROM KOH SAMUI ADDING COLOURS TO GIVE SCHOOL A FRESH LOOK

Volunteers from Prana Hotels and Resorts in Koh Samui lived up to the RYTHM’s name (Raise Yourself To Help Mankind) once again for giving back to the society in its latest SSR activity with a local school.

Keeremas is a suburban school which caters for children from grade 1-6 and became a symbolic centre where the community send their children to receive early education. Realizing the importance of education and having a comfortable environment at school, a total of 24 volunteers agreed to roll up their sleeves to give the school a deserving fresh look.

The SSR activity began early in the morning with volunteers being divided into groups to clean up the different sections of the school. It was followed with the resurfacing of the playground where it was given a fresh coat of painting.

All in all, the activity was completed under the estimated time (4 hours) as many of the volunteers were experienced and hands-on.

“I’m glad to be able to contribute my time for this meaningful activity and I hope the children will be surprised to see the outcome,” said Anupong Boonyok, one of the volunteers.
